This is paired with a dedicated, power-loss protected SSD running a Real-Time Kernel OS derived from Innuos’ reference ZEN Next-Gen series, ensuring a fast, low-latency system optimized for audio.

Power delivery is further enhanced by the CX Regulator module, which isolates and supplies ultra-low-noise power to the Digital Output Module. This, along with a medical-grade filtered external switching power supply, provides a blacker background and greater musical clarity. For those building a digital library, Stream1 offers M.2 NVMe SSD storage options in 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB capacities—or the flexibility to install your own drive. Paired with Innuos’ Sense app, it becomes a robust music server with advanced metadata and organizational tools.

Connectivity is forward-thinking, with dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports—including a bridged “Streamer” output—USB-C for DACs and external storage, and support for an external optical drive to rip CDs directly into your library using Innuos’ customized engine.
