The Submerge subwoofer from Wilson Audio is powered by a sophisticated, custom-tuned DSP, driving a 1,600-watt amplifier that effortlessly controls the dual-spider 12” woofer. This DSP is meticulously calibrated to ensure optimal acoustical interaction between the driver and enclosure volume, delivering a balanced, lifelike soundstage that enhances any audio or cinema system. The Submerge provides front-facing analog controls on a beautifully machined plate, allowing for precise adjustments to Gain, Delay (Phase), ELF Trim, and LP Frequency. These intuitive controls can be easily fine-tuned, with custom indicator rings to mark your settings, ensuring that adjustments can be made seamlessly and returned to original positions if needed.

The Submerge allows for flexibility with balanced and unbalanced Left/Mono and Right inputs, accommodating various audio setups. The DSP can also be bypassed, offering compatibility with home theater systems or external processors like the Wilson Audio ActivXO dual-subwoofer crossover. Crafted from X-Material, the enclosure provides exceptional vibration control and mass, crucial for reproducing low frequencies with unmatched clarity and precision. The powerful 1,600-watt amplifier is mounted to a massive heatsink plate at the rear, efficiently transferring heat from the internal components to the decorative heatsink fins, inspired by the mountain ranges surrounding Wilson Audio.

The front grille can be removed to reveal the sleek aluminum baffle design, with attachment hardware strategically placed underneath for a clean, visually pleasing appearance. Drawing inspiration from the Master Subsonic, the thick X-Material substrate combined with the aluminum baffle creates a solid, highly damped surface that securely holds the driver in place. The amplifier is isolated from vibrations thanks to its seamless mounting to the V-Material back plate, which controls vibrations and minimizes sympathetic resonances, resulting in a purer sound. The Submerge also features elegant aesthetics that align with the design language found in other Wilson Audio models, such as the WAMM Master Chronosonic, WASAE LōKē, WASAE Center, and Alida CSC. The side panels, thickest near the driver, enhance dampening and vibration control, offering both visual appeal and acoustical superiority.
