ClearAudio Concept Signature

The Clearaudio Concept Signature turntable builds upon the success of its predecessor, the Concept, offering a refined, high-performance audio package with more than 20,000 units sold since its introduction in 2009. Designed with user-friendliness in mind, the Concept Signature features advanced updates while retaining the core simplicity and performance of the original. The turntable's body is crafted from medium-density fiberboard, optionally layered with solid wood, and finished with satin plastic, minimizing resonances while ensuring visual appeal.

A polished flat belt driven by a decoupled DC motor reduces interference noise transmission. The new Tacho-Speed-Control (TSC) technology takes speed control to the next level by monitoring platter speed and providing real-time feedback, responding to fluctuations in belt tension, bearing friction, and temperature. TSC also features auto-calibration and manual recalibration options for optimal performance.

The motor's suspension benefits from the addition of multiple O-rings (IMS) to further decouple the chassis, a design modification inspired by Clearaudio’s Reference Jubilee. The Concept Signature also boasts a redesigned surface and illuminated touch controller for intuitive operation, adding a modern aesthetic to its functionality.

With its wide range of compatible Clearaudio tonearms and cartridges, the Concept Signature offers unmatched modularity. Recommended upgrades include MM and MC cartridges from Concept MC to Talisman V2 Gold, tonearms from Concept to Profiler, the Concept Clamp, acrylic cover, and nano phono V2 or smart phono V2 preamplifiers.
