CH Precision C10 DAC

The C10 is a groundbreaking twin-chassis design, offering a fully differential setup with a new DAC architecture that sets a new standard for musical performance and flexibility. Building on the modular, upgradable, and future-proof features of dCS's systems, the C10 uses the proprietary PEtER Spline Filter algorithm, CH-LINK HD for DSD, MQA, and high-res PCM formats, and dual crystal oscillators to deliver remarkable precision and audio fidelity. Featuring 16 R2R DACs in a dual differential, sequential DSQ™ Phase Array topology, it processes data with supreme precision, offering data output rates of 64x Fs (2.8224/3.072 MHz), far surpassing the previous 16x Fs in the C1.2.

The power supply provides four independent, highly regulated DC feeds to isolated circuit blocks, ensuring an ultra-quiet and stable environment for the DAC’s operations. The DAC’s internal layout adopts a mirror-imaged design for symmetry, with a new third-order Sallen-Key Bessel filter dramatically reducing propagation error. This sophisticated approach, combined with lessons from the P10 and L10, results in outstanding dynamic response and resolution.

The C10 is a pure DAC, eliminating the variable output and analog input options of the C1.2 to focus on digital performance. It features user-selectable output levels, switchable feedback, and modular inputs, including CH-Digital-IN HD, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, TosLink, and Ethernet Control for network connectivity and streaming services. The C10 is future-proof, with upgrade options like the Ethernet-In HD card for streaming and a Clock Sync card for external synchronization.

Designed to be upgraded into the C10 Mono by simply adding a power supply, the C10 offers a more direct path to greater performance, surpassing traditional multi-chassis setups.
