Description

The Alexx V builds on the success of its predecessor, the original Alexx, by offering a re-engineered performance envelope without significantly increasing its footprint. The new design incorporates advanced materials, such as the latest version of X-Material and Wilson Audio's innovative V-Material, which are used throughout the woofer, gantry, and upper modules for enhanced response and damping. The all-new Wilson Audio Acoustic Diode™ spike system, crafted from a combination of austenitic stainless steel and V-Material, offers superior vibration management, revealing more dynamic nuances across the frequency spectrum.

Wilson Audio’s engineering team has made substantial advancements in the sound characteristics of the Alexx V, including refining every baffle angle and improving time-alignment accuracy, bringing it closer to the precision of the Chronosonic XVX. The midrange drivers have been carefully tuned with dissimilar sized drivers and the introduction of the Alnico QuadraMag® 7" midrange driver, first developed for the Chronosonic XVX, provides greater warmth, texture, and detail in the midrange. The wave diffusers behind the midrange drivers further enhance the resolving power and settling speed of the system.

Alexx V also features an open architecture gantry, first introduced in the WAMM Master Chronosonic, which enhances the rigidity of the upper module and reduces pressure behind the enclosures for better fidelity. The new Convergent Synergy® Carbon (CSC) tweeter, designed in-house using 3D printing technology, offers improved high-frequency extension, ambient retrieval, and harmonic detail. Additionally, the woofers, which were originally developed for the WAMM Master Chronosonic, have been optimized in Alexx V to provide deeper low-frequency reproduction, faster transient settling, and improved bass resolution. With a 16% increase in internal woofer volume, Alexx V delivers a more dynamic and immersive listening experience, making it one of the most advanced loudspeakers in Wilson Audio's lineup.

What is the warranty on Wilson Audio Speakers?

Wilson Audio warrants its electronics to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the conditions outlined herein. The standard warranty period is 90 days from the original purchase date. However, if the following two requirements are met, the warranty extends to five (5) years from the original purchase date:

The Warranty Registration Form must be returned to Wilson Audio within 30 days of product delivery.
The product must be professionally installed by the Wilson Audio dealer who sold it, unless otherwise stated in the Owner’s Manual.

Do you offer service on Wilson Audio speakers?

We do! In many cases we can service a still under warranty speakers in the home, however in rare cases we might need to bring it in for more extensive maintenance.
