At the heart of the LS60 are KEF's Uni-Q drivers, which feature a tweeter placed at the center of the bass/midrange cone to eliminate interference between low, mid, and high frequencies, resulting in a cleaner, more immersive sound. This driver setup disperses sound evenly throughout the room, ensuring no "sweet spot," and providing consistent, natural sound for everyone in the space. Additionally, KEF incorporates their P-Flex Driver Surround, inspired by Japanese paper folding, to maintain sensitivity while resisting acoustic pressure, as well as Smart Distortion Control to reduce harmonic distortion by up to 75%. These innovations enable the LS60 to deliver deep, detailed bass with a 31 Hz 3 dB down point.

The LS60’s Single Apparent Source technology, working in conjunction with the Uni-Q drivers, ensures precise, clear sound across the entire frequency range. Matched with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which absorbs unwanted sound from the rear of the drivers, the LS60 produces purer, more natural sound by minimizing distortion. All of these technologies are driven by the Music Integrity Engine, ensuring precise low-frequency phase correction and natural, accurate sound reproduction. Powered by 1400 Watts of amplification (Class AB and Class D), the LS60 offers dedicated amplification for each frequency range, providing optimal performance with a powerful, yet balanced sound.
