Description

For those who prefer a more traditional loudspeaker form without compromising on modern performance, the Bowers & Wilkins 804 D4 delivers. It embodies the signature sound of the 800 Series Diamond in a refined, elegant tower design—proving that sophistication can take many shapes. Behind its classic silhouette lies serious innovation: a Reverse-Wrap cabinet built from a continuous curved section of wood provides exceptional structural integrity and acoustic neutrality. This unique construction dramatically reduces mechanical resonance and improves sound dispersion for a more immersive listening experience.

Up top, the all-new aluminium plate adds structural rigidity and a premium visual finish, doubling as a mount for the luxurious Leather by Connolly trim—black leather for dark finishes and light grey for lighter ones. Down below, an aluminium plinth with constrained-layer damping and robust new spikes ensures the 804 D4 is as stable as it is sonically accurate. The down-firing Flowport exits cleanly onto the plinth, offering deeper, more controlled bass response.

Every element of the 804 D4 reflects Bowers & Wilkins' relentless pursuit of acoustic perfection—where timeless craftsmanship meets the science of sound. Whether you're building a reference two-channel setup or looking for a high-performance addition to a multi-channel system, the 804 D4 stands as a testament to what’s possible when innovation and elegance intersect.
