Description

Purpose-built for the 700 Series, the Carbon Dome tweeters represent a significant leap forward, delivering a dramatic improvement over the aluminum double dome tweeters traditionally used in high-performance speakers. By raising the breakup threshold to an impressive 47kHz, the Carbon Dome tweeters allow for even greater imaging accuracy and fine detail, allowing the listener to experience the full richness and complexity of their music. This precision in high-frequency response ensures that every note is delivered with clarity, creating an immersive and detailed soundstage that captures the subtle nuances of the original recording.

The Continuum™ cone is another key innovation, crafted from a specially developed composite material that avoids the abrupt transitions in behavior commonly found in conventional drive units. This ensures a smoother, more natural transition across frequencies, contributing to a more open, neutral sound. The result is a speaker that excels at reproducing voices and instruments with unparalleled precision and transparency, offering a true-to-life representation of the music that reveals every detail and emotion.

Drawing inspiration from the renowned 800 Series Diamond, the 706 S3 features a new curved cabinet baffle and individual drive unit pods. This design reduces cabinet coloration and minimizes unwanted resonances, resulting in a cleaner, more focused sound. The carefully engineered baffle and pods work together to improve the overall listening experience, ensuring a more immersive and authentic presentation of your music.
