Description

The new 703 S3 takes performance to all-new heights, thanks to its innovative Tweeter-on-Top configuration and the groundbreaking Biomimetic Suspension in its decoupled midrange drive unit.

The 700 Series showcases the latest generation of Bowers & Wilkins' iconic Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing. Its new, more elongated design features a longer tube-loading system that delivers an even more open and free sound in the high frequencies. The carefully decoupled housing is milled from a single solid block of aluminum, minimizing resonance for a purer output.

The 700 Series also introduces Carbon Dome tweeters, purpose-built to replace the aluminum double dome. These tweeters raise the breakup threshold to an impressive 47kHz, resulting in pinpoint imaging accuracy and exceptional detail.

The Continuum™ cone, with its advanced composite construction, eliminates the abrupt transitions that can affect the performance of conventional drive units. This results in a more open and neutral sound, offering voices and instruments with remarkable precision and transparency.

Every three-way loudspeaker in the 700 Series features a dedicated midrange cone, utilizing four key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: Continuum™, FST™, Biomimetic Suspension, and midrange decoupling. This combination ensures minimal interference from the bass drivers, producing a more refined, accurate sound across the full frequency range.
