Description

In just a few short years, the M1.1 has become a classic, setting the standard for both performance and versatility. Replacing it required a complete rethinking of every aspect of the design, re-examining each component and improving on every part. The result is the M10, featuring a unique new input stage that significantly outperforms previous circuits, completely redesigned circuit boards to minimize induced noise and distortion, and upgraded components throughout the signal path. These improvements lead to a dramatic increase in low-level resolution, transparency, natural tonality, and musical flow.

Power was another area where the M10 surpasses its predecessor. Dynamic swings often test even the M1.1’s generous 200 W/Ch, so for the M10, we didn’t just increase the power; we doubled the power supply capacity. This massive reservoir of power enhances both the loudest climaxes and the quietest passages, ensuring that every note has clarity, presence, and stability. It tracks changes in level and density with remarkable precision, keeping instruments distinct while positioning them within a defined space. It captures the energy of a performance, and when the music reaches its peak, the M10 reproduces that effortlessly.

Designing the M10 presented physical challenges, as power supplies are large and heavy. To keep the product manageable, the M10 is built in a twin-chassis configuration—one for the amplifier stage and the other for the power supply. While each chassis requires two people to lift, they maintain the M1.1’s compact dimensions and fit into standard racks, making them easier to house than a single, large chassis would be.

The M10 retains the versatile topology and user-configurable operating parameters of the M1.1, making it four amplifiers in one. It can be configured for stereo, bi-amp operation, high-current, or high-power mono operation, delivering over 1KW into an 8 Ohm load. The modular input options have been simplified, and users can now adjust the global feedback ratio (damping factor) in 1% increments for finer speaker and system matching.
